MULTI-FORMAT EDIT BAY

Edit Bay One is a spacious, comfortable work area equipped with the latest gear and an experienced operator.  This bay directly interfaces to our audio studio and multi-format video deck matrix. With this configuration  you can directly input your elements,  without image degrading format conversions.

AVID EDITING

Because image quality, speed and flexibility are important to our clients, Terrazas Video exclusively uses Avid editing software.  In post-production, our intent is to facilitate your creative process. We do this by offering the latest tools and relaxed editing environment. We work with you to realize your vision. Our greatest asset is the ability become your creative partner when transforming your concept and footage into a final production.

SONIC EXCELLENCE

For smaller budgets, our clients have access to the complete Valentino Sound Effects Library, a 50 CD library which includes everything from jet fly-overs to a pin drop.   We also have a large collection of the latest “needle-drop” and “non-needle drop” production music.

Duplication & Preservation Services

Terrazas Video offers high speed DVD duplication and printing. Let us show you the benefits of personalized service and quality control. Don’t send your precious master out of town for duplication. Terrazas Video has the facilities in-house.

We specialize in “On-Demand” duplication. This means flexibility and cost savings for you. There is no need for you to maintain a large DVD inventory. We create and store a digital copy master of your project. Call, fax or email us your small run order and we will have it ready for you in 24 hours. PRESERVATION SERVICES

Transfer your films and videotapes to DVD before it’s too late.

Most experts agree that the useful life of a video or audio tape is between ten and twenty years. This variation depends on how the tape was stored.  The cause of the decay is that the iron oxide or metal partials deposited on the tape backing loose adhesion and starts to shed. This causes the tape to stick to the VCR’s rollers and heads.  When this occurs the tape becomes damaged and the VCR must be taken apart and cleaned.  

The only solution to this preservation problem is to transfer the tape onto a current formats such as DVD.  Technical expertise is essential in this process since deterioration in the original image can occur if signal levels are not properly set or the tape deck is not properly maintained.

Terrazas Video supports a wide variety of video formats. Our in-house technician regularly maintains and calibrates our equipment. That is why we are able to specializes in converting your valuable videotape to DVD.  This preserves your archives for many years to come and allows you to take advantage of the many low cost digital video distribution channels that are available today.
